There is one university that offers a Master of Public Administration program and is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) - the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.

Another MPA program is also available in Reno, which has specializations in Public Management, Policy Analysis and Evaluation, and Environmental Policy and Management.

Online MPA Programs in Nevada

One of the most convenient ways to earn a Master of Public Administration is through an online program.

At the moment, there are no universities in the state of Nevada that offer a fully online MPA program that is accredited by NASPAA. However, those that live in the state can opt to take the on-campus, NASPAA-accredited program through the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (which does provide some online coursework for flexibility), or can find multiple online MPA opportunities across the United States.

Online MPA programs are typically geared toward a full-time professional, but they often provide self-paced coursework with weekly deadlines and either asynchronous or synchronous lectures.

Most learning management systems provide a way to keep in contact with faculty members and other peers enrolled in the program. Many schools have the ability to offer their full on-campus curriculum in an online format.
