25 credits are among the core course requirements, and the final three-to-six credits are reserved for additional electives or field work. Part-time and full-time students are accepted into the program and can expect to complete the curriculum in four semesters. Evening classes are offered for part-time flexibility, but no weekend opportunities and no online option. A graduate certificate is offered for Nonprofit Management and Budget and Public Finance, geared toward those who do not want to commit to a Master’s degree.

In order to get into the program, students must have a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of a B average in their prior coursework (a GPA of 3.5 or above is recommended), but they do not need to submit GRE scores. Nothing more is required, although the university suggests the following to help in potential acceptance: relevant work experience, personal achievement, and letters of recommendation.
